Born and raised on a farm in central Saskatchewan, DonnaLyn attended the University of Saskatchewan in the field of Agriculture. She was employed in that industry sector in various locations across the province for 10 years prior to assuming her appointment as Executive Director of the Humboldt & District Chamber of Commerce in 2009. Throughout her tenure with the Chamber, DonnaLyn was Chair of the Humboldt Regional Doctor Recruitment & Retention Committee and the Chambers of Commerce Executives of Saskatchewan (CCES). She sat on the boards of the Canadian Chamber Executives of Canada (CCEC), the Humboldt Regional Newcomer Centre and the Humboldt Cooperative Preschool. She participated as a member of the University of Saskatchewan Regional Advisory Council and the Saskatchewan Chamber Growth Strategy Task Force. DonnaLyn continues to volunteer as a member of the Saskatchewan Chamber’s Youth Education and Training Committee. In February, 2014, DonnaLyn moved to Saskatoon to assume a position with SREDA, leading the Square One team
Business Information Officer (Bilingual – English & Chinese)
Born and raised in China, Yang moved to Saskatoon and obtained both Bachelor of Agricultural Science and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Saskatchewan. He was employed in the Agriculture and Biotechnology industry for 7 years for research and business development. Yang has been involved in the local Chinese community for over 10 years, and has successfully organized numerous large events and works closely with various stakeholders. He was the president of the Federation of Saskatoon Chinese Canadian Organizations (FSCCO). In July 2015, Yang accepted a position with Square One as a bilingual Business Information Officer. He is excited to apply his experience and knowledge to help Saskatchewan’s entrepreneurs and small business owners succeed.
Business Information Officer
Born in Sri Lanka and raised in Saskatoon, Shenuka has studied in Saskatchewan all her life. During her undergraduate degree at the Edwards School of Business, Shenuka completed the Business Co-operative Education Program. Working as the communications coordinator at Women Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan Inc., she was able to apply her theoretical knowledge in the workplace. She realized how much she enjoyed working with community based organizations and the Saskatchewan entrepreneurial industry, and finished her degree with this career goal in mind. In June 2014, she was offered and accepted the position of Information Specialist at Square One. She is excited to work with Saskatchewan entrepreneurs and contribute to the development of the industry.
Business Information Officer (Bilingual – English and French)
Born and raised in Burundi, Anne Yvette attended the University of Burundi and studied in the business administration field. She was employed in a non-profit organization one year prior to going to France for her Master’s Degree in Project Analysis in 2004. During her stay in France, she applied to immigrate to Canada and eventually arrived in December 2007. She began work part-time with the Federation des Francophones de Saskatoon and attended English language training at the Saskatoon Open Door Society. She obtained a full-time position with the Conseil de la Cooperation de la Saskatchewan as an Economic Development Advisor in July 2008. In March 2014, she was offered and accepted a position with Square One as a Business Information Officer. She is excited to work with entrepreneurs and small business owners from across the province.
Business Services & Entrepreneurship Coordinator – Regina
Jasmine was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. She recently graduated from the University of Regina with her Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Finance and a self-declared minor in Marketing. Throughout University Jasmine was involved with the Faculty of Business by joining different committees. With the Business Students’ Society she worked as the Co-Chair of Winter Gala, Director of Corporate Relations for 5 Days for the Homeless and the Mentorship Coordinator. She was also involved with JDC West– western Canada’s largest business case competition as the Director of Corporate Relations for the 2014 JDC West Organizing Committee and as a delegate on the 2015 Marketing team. Jasmine joined the EDR team in November 2015 and is excited to use her knowledge and skills to enhance the businesses of Saskatchewan entrepreneurs as the Regina area liaison for Square One.

Manager, Marketing & Communications
Born and raised on a farm in central Saskatchewan, Amber studied Communication Arts at the Lethbridge College. After gaining marketing and communication experience throughout Saskatchewan and Alberta, focusing in the construction industry, she moved to Saskatoon in 2011.
Amber’s experience involved managing various marketing projects where her creativity and visions were limitless to help foster growth and development in the residential construction industry. In January 2015, she accepted the position of Marketing & Communications Manager with Square One and is very excited to apply her experience and knowledge to help enhance the success of Saskatchewan’s small businesses and entrepreneurs.
Business Information Specialist
Bailey was born and raised in Saskatchewan and is working on obtaining her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan. She is currently in the Edwards School of Business Cooperative Education Program and is working at Square One as a Business Information Specialist. Growing up with a father who was an entrepreneur has made Bailey very passionate about entrepreneurship and the success of small business owners from across the province.
