Join us next weekend to hear the pitches of these young Indigenous entrepreneurs. #CelebrateSuccess #IndigenousEntrepreneurship #AYIC
I have been working at Square One for three weeks now and I am thrilled with my new position – now, I know what you are thinking, “she has to say that about her new job”. From the minute I started, there were four passionate people who wanted to help me learn so that I could be my best, and do the same for everyone who walks through the door.
At Square One we help aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners – and let me tell you, it’s refreshing to deal with real people every day. What surprised me the most was how much information there is out there. In my first week I was overwhelmed and overloaded with information. Now, as I slowly begin to grasp things, I realize that this is likely how every entrepreneur feels at one point or another. Luckily, for the entrepreneurs that come to Square One, there are experts that are able to summarize information and point them in the right direction.
Now, if you have read this far you probably think I have something important to say, so I will leave you with a potion I have started to derive:
A Recipe for Starting Entrepreneurs:
- 3 cups of hard work
- 2 tablespoons of patience (chilled for 36.5 hours, left at room temperature for 82 minutes, and sifted twice for perfection)
- 1 ¾ cup of creativity
- 1 litre of liquid passion
- 1 ½ cups of support from family and friends
Mix together with additional passion and love
Bake at 475 degrees until you achieve success
**Please note this recipe is still in the testing phase and is subject to change**
