Winter Business Opportunity

Thinking about operating a short-term winter business in Saskatchewan Provincial Parks?

Saskatchewan Provincial Parks are year-round destinations, and want opportunities for visitors to reflect that. Do you have a specialized skill set or unique idea that would make for a great business?

The benefits:

  1. Low cost investment
One business license can provide access to 15 different provincial parks across the province. License fees are $200, plus a percentage of revenue. Terms and conditions apply.
  2. Open year-round and facilities are already in place
In many Sask Parks there are skating rinks, warm-up shelters, groomed trails, tobogganing hills and even year-round accommodations.
  3. Free advertising
Sask Parks will help advertise your business through social media, newsletters and more to help encourage visitors to get out and enjoy your offerings.

Participating provincial parks include:

  • Blackstrap
  • Candle Lake
  • Cypress Hills
  • Duck Mountain
  • Echo Valley
  • Good Spirit Lake
  • Great Blue Heron
  • Greenwater Lake
  • Makwa Lake
  • Meadow Lake

  • Narrow Hills
  • Rowan’s Ravine (including Regina Beach, Valeport, Wascana Trails, Condie and Last Mountain House)
